Job description
- Oversee the MEP work (Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical, HVAC, Fire safety and other services) from start to completion. Preparation of RFQs, Comparative Statements & Purchase Orders.
- Ensure parts and materials are bought at the most competitive price and delivered on time at the site.
- Execute: Execution of the MEP work involving installation, commissioning, QC and testing.
- Coordination: Follow up and coordinate with Architect, Project Manager, and our other team members to ensure timely completion of works with norms and specifications.
- Provide technical advice to staff designer, supervisor, inspector and contracting service provider, regarding installation and maintenance of MEP system
- Analyze mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering problems and formulate solutions
- Analyze mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering problems and formulate solutions
- Advise the Project manager of any technical aspects of the mechanical services that may affect construction progress, e.g. quality or snag
- Review drawing in conjunction with the structural and electrical engineers to ensure engineering co-ordination and advise the project director accordingly
- Installation, commissioning & testing of Plumbing/Fire Fighting equipment's such as Pump room, Fire Alarm system, Networking, STP, WTP, Waterbody and Swimming pool related work
- Firefighting work, Sprinkler system, Smoke Detector, Heat Detector, RI with fire Panel work etc as per National Building Code and other regulatory and compliance
- Supervision of Plumbing internal, External and OHT work includes material as CPVC, UPVC, PVC and GI etc.
- Coordination with Project Manager and Architect for all external development work for Rain Water Harvesting Line, Sewer Lines, OHT water Lines, Drainage Lines, Electrical Lines(HT & LT), Fire Fighting Line etc as per Drawing Specifications/Levels
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelors in Electrical OR Mechanical 5 to 10 Years of total experience in construction with working Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Must have completed at least one govt project.
- Estimate: Prepare detail specifications, BOQs and cost estimations.
- Good knowledge in MS Office, AutoCAD and Project management software Skilled in reading plans/drawings/specifications of architectural, structural and engineering framework Candidate should able to handle Planning, Coordination with client for approvals, Bill Certifications, Drawings, Execution etc..
